What is the procedure for obtaining a work permit in Thailand if I have to cover the costs myself?

Hi all, again need your expert comments with your help.

I got a job offer from a company based in Phuket but they can't afford to provide me the work visa as its expensive. I don't want to miss that opportunity so I proposed them that I am ready to bear the expenses if they can provide me all the paper works.

Now could you guys help me out with the procedure to get the work permit, I had done my research and it's bit confusing for me in terms of money and the registration and all.

Is there any consultants in Phuket who provide assistance with the job as well as with the work permit too?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process of obtaining a work permit in Thailand after receiving a job offer from a Phuket-based company that cannot cover the costs. The user is willing to pay for the work permit themselves and seeks guidance on the necessary procedures and potential consultants in Phuket. Comments reveal varying opinions on the costs associated with work permits, mention of local Ministry of Labor offices, and suggest that some companies may be hesitant to provide permits due to bureaucratic hurdles.

they are talking out their back side.

I think these are still the current pricing

100 Baht/form = Permit application Fee

750 Baht = work permit not longer than 3 months.

1,500 Baht = work permit longer than 3 months but does not exceed 6 months.

3,000 Baht = work permit longer than 6 months but does not exceed 12 months.

Best consultant is the Ministry of Labor, they provide you with the list of requirements and than it is just spent some time to copy all the papers.
Robert *******
In every province is a Ministry of Labor, so no difference Visit the office and get the list of requirements.

to get your first wp done , and extension after one year is about 15 000 now , and you have to use your accounting as the labour department will sent you home due to language and they tell your company hr manager only a middleagent aka accounting can apply , checked that last week to get some answers about that issue with surat thani

Yes most schools make you pay as many leave after the process, they should however do the actual paperwork for you.
