I have a question about canceling my non b visa.

I am quiting my job to start a new one in July.

My school advised me to go immigration with some paperwork to cancel it. They also advised me to go to the ministry of labor after that (next business day) to cancel WP.

I’ve read articles online saying to cancel WP first and then go to immigration to cancel the visa.

What exactly is the process?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To cancel your Non-B visa in Thailand, it is advisable to first cancel your Work Permit (WP). You should go to the Ministry of Labor on the same day as canceling your WP, and then proceed to the Immigration Office to cancel your Extension of Stay based on employment. It’s important to complete both cancellations on the same day to avoid any issues.

I am in the middle of doing the same thing. I called 1111 the government operations center and they outlined the procedure so clearly.

Most offices like you to cancel first your Work Permit and with those documents visit the Immigration Office to cancel your Extension of Stay based on employment, must both be cancelled on the same day, not the the next day.
