DTV (Soft Power) - Approved.

Location: Hanoi

Timeline (4 working days):

03/11 - Apply & paid

04/11 - Status changed to pending approval

06/11 - Status changed to Approved, 1pm

Document submitted:

- Passport copy

- Muay Thai documents

- 3 entire months of bank statements

- Flight and hotel bookings for Vietnam

- Passport entry stamp

I have printed and laminated my DTV in passport book size. For those at hanoi westlake: [members only]

P.S. I don’t regret hiring an agent, i simply sent all my documents (naked) to the agent and the rest is done.

On my way to airport as i am typing this πŸ™‚

i don’t think agent have any control over the application. Rather they just know the best practices to ensure higher and quicker approval chances.

My agent advised on the best country for my situation, he also handled all my documents and submission. All i do is sent him what he required and pay for the application.

That said if you are still interested, i can refer to you.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

Weird, I also applied for soft power, Muay Thai in Hanoi on October 29 and I haven't heard a thing. Also included the same things you did. It just says Processing Pending Approval (1)... Not sure what the (1) is about, as I only applied once. Did you have a ticket back to Thailand at an earlier date than me? Maybe thats why they prioritized your application? I showed them a return ticket to Thailand for November 10.
