I have searched through previous posts but could not find clear, recent clarification, so I am posting to get a general sense before making a decision.

I will be applying for the DTV soft power route in early March and am deciding where to apply from.

At the moment I am considering Hanoi or Taipei. I am trying to understand which location tends to be smoother and more efficient, and where people have generally had more positive or straightforward experiences.

Any recent experiences or insights would be appreciated. TIA 🙏🏻

Hanoi. Don't make the mistake of applying through Indonesia, Manila or HCMC. Those are just some notorious for long waiting times.

Taipei is very particular about evidence of income, contracts and business registration. There are a lot of posts which will give you tips on applying at both
