If you go to Thailand without a visa , (under 30 days visa free) and then want to stay longer and decide to change your return flight, what is the procedure to obtain an extension if this is at all possible ( Bangkok area )
Answer summary
If you're in Thailand visa-free for under 30 days and wish to extend your stay, you can obtain a 30-day extension at the immigration office. In Bangkok, extensions are typically processed at Chaeng Wattana for tourist visas and at Laksi IT Square for stamp extensions. Required documents include your passport, a receipt from where you're staying (TM30), a photo, and the completed TM7 form. The extension fee is approximately 1,900 baht.

Just a note, in Bangkok, visas extension, even tourist ones are done at Chaeng Wattana, while for stamp (visa-exempt) extension you will need to go to Laksi IT square
Nick West no))) Pak Nam is in Samut Prakan province, therefore you would need to go to Samut Prakan Immigration Office. Much less hustle than Laksi, especially during high season. Good luck to you, and it is not as hard as it might sound at first. )
You can get one 30 day extension at the immigration office that serves where you live. You need to have a TM30 filed by the person responsible for where you stay, and that is the office you must use so ask them and get a copy of the receipt. Usually your just going to need your passport, copies of the data and entry stamp pages, a passport photo and a completed TM7 form requesting the extension
