TLDR : Answer Summary
The most commonly used currency in Laos is the Lao Kip. However, Thai Baht and US Dollars are also widely accepted, with many places allowing you to make payments in Thai Baht, especially in regions close to the border. It's important to note that any change received will typically be in Kip.
