What is the maximum file size for uploading passport photos for the Thai visa application?
Ladies/ Gents.
Having spent most day trying to upload passport photo, and copy of passport, for it to be rejected, on application form state's size of documents is 0.5mb, could anyone have an actual size for these.
Any help would be appreciated

I use the phone app 'Photo for Passport' available through Google Play Store. It can even change the background of your photo taken through your smartphone.

Glad you've sorted it now, mate. Just wanted to say, you were not alone! Reading your post brought back memories of when I spent two days trying to do exactly the same thing! I just downsized everything to the point of not being able to see anything and it was accepted! All the best with the rest of the process.

A number of people have said that the following works ... upload the photo to Facebook. Then save it from Facebook. Then use this resaved version. I'm told that it resizes just right.

Just trial and error on resizing via paint application on windows did it for me . A 50% reduction and then a further 20 or 30% usually did it

So annoying, when uploading the same documents for the CoE, you are given 5mb.

I feel your pain, and I’ve lost count of the times I’ve said “that’s we are not going!”
