The Covid-Extension for visa validity in Thailand has been extended until July 29, 2021. However, there have been reports of inconsistencies in how visas are being extended at various locations. Some individuals are experiencing issues with obtaining longer extensions, such as only receiving a 30-day extension instead of a 60-day one, despite the official extension announcement.

i went today to extend for my sister, and they did not allow a 60day extension..
they said it was not possible to do and only gave her 30days, charging 1900thb anyway
can anyone explain this pls?
its too late now to change but i just want a real explanation to understand that we werent duped
If it's the first extension they'll only give you 30 days in most offices from what I've seen. After that extra 30 days you'll be eligible for the 60 days. In some offices, where the tourists haven't been in masses, they'll give you the 60 days straight away - for example, in Phatthalung, which is a MUCH better deal. It's the same price for both btw!
thanks you, maybe monday will be Okay they told come back early monday ๐ or overstay what we can do
