TLDR : Answer Summary
The COVID-19 extension for visas in Thailand has been extended until March 25, 2022. However, individuals who entered on a visa on arrival or a non-immigrant visa are currently ineligible for this extension. Those on a tourist visa or exemption may apply for an extension before the deadline. Further stipulations include stricter application processes, mandatory address registration, and the requirement to leave or apply for an extension by the end date.

March 25th. If you originally came in on a visa on arrival (you paid 2,000 baht at the airport and got stamped for 15 days), or a non immigrant visa, you are not eligible for the Covid extension as of now. If you came in on a tourist visa or exempt then you can apply before that date.

Antony thanks for reply, in my case I had no issues, they easy attached me covid extension from the last stamp of medical visa from agency, no wife or thai friend with me.But now the new rules speak about non immigrant etc not eligible, I would like to know if the medical visa from agency is not eligible too

I entered with visa exempt, but during my stay I got a 3 months medical visa from agency, is it a problem with new rules?
you may have a bit of an issues when you do go for the extension but you will probably be okay in the end. I have been here 7 yrs always on non b but about 6 mths after the pandemic hit I got a medical one through an agent. When I then went to get onto the COVID extensions they picked up on the medical one as it was from korat immigration and Im in another province. They said is this from an agent and we said yes, luckily I had my Thai wife with me and after about 15 minutes of conversation about it, they let me go onto the vivid extension but he wanted an 1000thb.
Using agents for things like this seem like a good idea but then when you want to do something legit it could come back to bite you. A lot of expats use agents for the marriage extension but I haven't as you are stuck using agents then forever.
If you can take a Thai person with you it might be a good idea to try smooth thing over just in case you get pulled up on it. This was my experience, of course you might go and nothing will get said but just a heads up

They will know it's from an agent if they pick up on it and that basically makes you guilty of breaking immigration and visa laws and leaves you basically at their mercy
