hey all! I'm here on a non-o visa, following my husband's work visa as a teacher.
My first yearly extension is coming up next month,
I would like to double-check-
what is the latest I can get the extension, before my visa stamp's expiration? 15 days before or more?
(I'm not planning on waiting for last minute but would like to know)
thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster, on a NON-O visa associated with their husband's work visa as a teacher, inquired about the latest period to apply for a visa extension. The responses indicated that they could apply up to the last day of their visa stamp, though it is advised to apply at least 30 days before expiration to avoid last-minute issues.

As your extension will be aligned with your husband's I'm not sure why you would want to leave it until the last minute but in theory it could be the last day of your visa. Not that it's advisable to leave it so late, I wouldn't recommend going beyond the week
