UPDATE : Guys thank you so much for your precious help ! Opened the bank account today and it (literally !) took 3 minutes to receive the funds from abroad (via WISE). Don’t know what kind of extension was given but got a 15 days stamp that needs to be restamped for a 45 day stay. Don’t think it is the covid extension as the consent form was missing and the immigration told us to request it from the embassy which was unsuccessful. Just realized afterwards you can find it on [members only] but the immigration office was not aware of that AT ALL 😂 thank you all again !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares an update about successfully opening a bank account in Thailand and receiving funds via WISE in just three minutes. They mention acquiring a temporary visa extension with a 15-day stamp that needs restamping for a total of 45 days. The user indicates this extension is likely not the COVID extension due to missing a consent form. They also note confusion as the immigration office was unaware of a relevant immigration guideline available online.

Congratulations! I believe you got a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. A 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family does NOT have an under consideration period :) (that's a good thing).

@Benjamin *****
but the stamps don’t mention covid at all which is why I do not know what extension I got 😂 it only says « upon discretion of the immigration office » anyways I was extended and right now it’s all that matters and I got plenty time to get my one year married to Thai extension 😊😊😊 this group helped me so much! Thanks everyone
