TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the latest possible date to arrive in Thailand given a 60-day visa set to expire on April 2. The community responses highlight that the duration of the visa includes the day of arrival and suggest that the user should arrive no earlier than March 1, thus allowing a full 60 days before departure.

You can overstay and pay 500bt each day, don't worry too much about it

If you leave Thailand on 29th April, having used your 60 days Visa, you need to arrive in Thailand, no earlier than 1st March.

Brian McKenzie the one and only correct reply. He has to arrive not earlier than on March 1. So most probably needs to depart from his home country on February 28

The 60 days includes the day of arrival, and the day of departure.

Nongnuch Kamdee departing day also counted you are silly classed as one day in thailand even if 1 minutes passed midnight it is from the time you are stamped out at immigration not flight time so you could stamped out 23.00 and fly out 01 .00 the next day that day would not be counted as you have already cleared customs

Martyn Goddard exactly, I must leave on day number 60, that is why the departing day (01:00 next day) does NOT count. You have just proved that you are the silly one
