How long after my DTV visa confirmation can I enter Thailand, and is there a maximum delay allowed?

Hi, As of July 1, 2025 - 4:15pm my DTV visa was confirmed via email. Clearly lost hope because it’s almost been a month. So confused and happy right now.

After how long should I enter Thailand? How many days is max ? So would it be a problem if I arrived in 10-15 days or 1 month later ?

Thanks ..

TLDR : Answer Summary

According to comments, the user can enter Thailand at any time within the next 5 years, with some clarification that they should arrive within 180 days of the visa confirmation to ensure a smooth entry and possibly extend their stay.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
