Hi, I’m attempting to do the Thai pass, I had covid in august but never received a certificate to say I had recovered from it, and I’m sure the fact that I had tested positive will be somehow linked to my vaccination codes from the nhs app, do I have to now get a certificate from my doctor or what? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the necessity of a recovery certificate for the Thai Pass after having Covid in August, despite being double vaccinated. Comments suggest that a recovery certificate is only needed if traveling with only one vaccine dose. If fully vaccinated, the recovery certificate is typically not necessary.

I had tested positive for covid 6 weeks before I came out here but had

Very mild symptoms and I have a medical friend who said I could test positive for up to 3 months but there is a section that say tested positive and I’m sure if I had the certification to say I had covid you will be allowed in as you/ we are immune to it now. I tested negative but the stress waiting for the result was immense

The only time you need a recovery certificate is if you're trying to travel after only receiving one dose of vaccine. You can still be considered fully vaccinated with a recovery certificate and 1 vaccine dose.

If you've been double vaccinated, don't worry about the recovery.
