TLDR : Answer Summary
To get a residency certificate quickly in Bangkok, visiting the immigration office and paying an agent around 1000 baht may allow for expedited processing, possibly within an hour. However, it's important to check if your Airbnb landlord has filed a TM30 form, as this document is necessary to prove your address for the certificate. It's advisable to go as soon as possible, ideally before the approaching holiday to avoid delays.

Pay an agent 1000 baht and get it done quickly

You apply at CW and they post it to the address on your TM30 within 7 days.

I’m not sure that’s there is a quicker option there.

you can pay 1000 baht and get it in an hour. Or at least you could 2 years ago when I did it.

who do I pay?

@Cia***
the people that issue the certificate.

When you go in to immigration and tell them you need a residence certificate they’ll direct you to the office/desk. When they say they’ll post it to you in a week I simply said is there an option to get it faster. They told me 1000 baht and one hour. I waited and paid her directly when she finished.
