TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation centers around the experiences of individuals applying for a Thai DTV visa from Florida. Many users have shared their positive experiences, stating that the application process through the Washington DC embassy is quick, often taking only about a week. Participants mention that submitting the correct documentation as per the application guidelines significantly impacts the process's efficiency. Specific user anecdotes highlight variations in experiences, such as needing additional documentation for middle names. Overall, the feedback suggests that applying from Florida through DC is a straightforward process.
I’m in Fort Lauderdale. When you’re completing the application there will be a drop down to pick a location (and notes to help you) but you select to apply through DC. It took about a week, they asked for a letter, I sent it back and was approved two days later. I’d say about 10 total days. Flying to Thailand the end of April ❤️

Florida goes through DC and it was very easy for me. I was approved in 7 days back in November with no extra documents asked for.

Depending on what embassy Florida has to apply with. Hopefully DC because they're the quickest. Got mine in 7 days with no additional documentation requested.
