Hi
Can someone please tell me the difference between a retirement visa and a extension of stay stamped retirement
If there is a difference how many times can you apply for an extension of stay likewise how many times can you apply for a retirement visa
TLDR : Answer Summary
A retirement visa, also known as the Non-Immigrant O visa, O-A visa, or O-X visa, is obtained from a Thai consulate or embassy. In contrast, an extension of stay is not a visa; it's a permission granted at the local Immigration Office to stay in Thailand longer, usually for one year, after meeting specific requirements. There is no limit on how many extensions you can apply for as long as you continue to fulfill the requirements, whereas the retirement visa has its own application rules.
