I get that but my my bank won’t allow me to have statements from the previous month until it’s the middle of the next month I.e i have to wait until 15 June to have Mays statement.
What kind of "statements" do you have because sometimes the people who report problems have irregular statements that look more like transaction history or something else instead of typical monthly statements from physical banks. Things like multiple months in one statement also sometimes cause problems. And the type of bank and account can also be a problem.
If you clean up the PDF to remove color or gray areas or shadows it will reduce the PDF file size. You can try starting from a fresh file and run it through adobe scan first to clean it up before trying to compress it. And if some of the documents were vector instead of raster format then you should try to keep it in vector format because it will save like 90% of the equivalent raster size.
Anonymous participant 988 It’s from an account I don’t use much, not too many transactions as I move the money to another account which is better for using abroad, but the full amount is there always. Just a regular current account.
Oh interesting. I used the ilovepdf website and compressed it that way. But then it was a little blurry after it was compressed. But yours didn't get blurry?
I had the exact same problem with the document from my school. The file was too large and I had to compress it and that made it a little blurry. But yes, still legible. I'm also applying in Vientiane. I don't know what to do about it so I wrote to the school to see if they can make it smaller. They included 4 pages of pictures of their school and I was thinking perhaps it's not necessary. But I have no idea what else to do.
