Hi, everyone, is there a deadline before submitting the documents?
Because the additional documents I was asked for take 1 month to get. 😭😭😭
Answer summary
When applying for a Thai visa, there is usually a strict deadline for submitting additional documents. Based on community advice, this deadline is often 14 days from the request. If the required documents, such as a criminal background check, take longer to obtain, applicants are encouraged to provide evidence of the delay, such as a cover letter and official notifications, to potentially request an extension. Some users reported varying experiences, with one mentioning a processing time reset upon submission of requested documents.

I suggest you upload a cover letter after maybe day 10 explaining that it takes time for the extra documents and show proof via screenshots that you are merely waiting for them an it being handled. Perhaps this way the 14 day deadline resets and you have a further 14 days as you’ve submitted something by way of this letter? Just a suggestion but I could be wrong.
Mine also took around 25 days. But I applied before the requirements applied and they asked it after the requirement became official. When I asked additional time showing evidence on when it will receive they gave me extra time
Anonymous participant if you had some kind of official notification that your documents will take a month to acquire, I would upload that along with a brief cover letter explaining the delay.
