TLDR : Answer Summary
The user faced a visa denial due to inconsistencies between their passport number and form details. Responses from the community confirm that there are no refunds for such mistakes, and the individual will need to reapply and pay the visa fee again. Several comments emphasize the importance of checking all details for accuracy before submission to avoid similar issues in the future.

Could you arrive and apply in country at immigration office? The only other way would pay an agent perhaps, if you struggle with forms? Thai visa centre run this page and are trustworthy.
Not having a dig at you pal, but your spelling isnt great and applications will fail on something so trivial. Id get someone to give it a look over before you submit and pay again.
I still have problems with slight anxiety when they ask for your name! I once got refused for something because I wrote my name, middle and surname the way its supposed to be!!! Good luck
Wayne North fair point. It could be he's making errors when writing on the form. For instance, adding full stops etc where not needed, as he's done in his posts.
Yes, you have to pay again. The data has to be exactly similar to your biometric passport data.
So, for example, if you have several first names as Stephen Nicolas Arthur, Stephen is the first name and Nicolas Arthur are middle name.
I am from Germany and in Germany it is rather common with multiple first names. So I paid several times till I phoned to an officer in the Thai embassy who told me this way I described.
The automatic reader often gets passport details wrong, it's up to you to check and correct before submitting. Nothing you can do but apply and pay again, make sure you double check everything this time
Does little good double checking as the eform doesn't allow to delete and reload attachments. To my surprise, the embassy processing my visas request actually called me about my bank statements i loaded. They didn't like it was a two page document the bank furnished me. Now they want statements from dfas and ssn and said they would request them direct, for me to upload when received. I'm scheduled to depart on the 21st. don't think I'm going to make it, plus I'm booked on Qatar air with connecting flight in Qatar.
