Are Covid visas still being issued in Thailand?

Firstly there was never a "COVID VISA" it was a Covid19 extension of stay.

Issuing was finished at the end of September.

You may be able to get a 30 day extension of stay, ONLY if your embassy will issue a letter stating that you cannot return home because of the Covid situation there. This is near impossible now.

AND that would be totally at the discretion of whatever immigration office you go to.

Phuket immigration will consider applications on a "case by case" basis.

The only embassy issuing letters are Ukraine because of the "war" currently.

China stopped the Covid letters as of Dec 1st.

SO the answer is... its done.

Covid extensions stopped being issued after August 24th 2022. Absolutely no idea why you could have thought they’d been announced until March 2023. As

Perhaps best not to tell members here to shut the F up when they tell you are way off base.

It was NEVER announced they would continue until 2023. Ended end oct 2022. There will be no more issued. That ship sailed long ago

Covid extensions ended months ago. You might be confusing it with the temporary increase for visa exempt which is valid until March.
