Good evening everyone,

I see loads of posts saying I applied via X embassy.

Some quick questions:

1. London embassy is directing me to the thaievisa.go.th to apply and say they are no longer accepting hard applications. Has the process changed?

2. I assume that if I apply online it will be emailed to me? I don't need to visit the actual embassy unless they require a further interview?

3. I'm hoping to apply in January. However, I will only just reach the 500k. There is no mention of it being seasoned. However, I do see people saying there has been rejected if not there for 3 months. Is it still the case it needs to be seasoned?

Thank you in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa application process at the Thai Embassy in London has shifted to an online-only system, as they no longer accept hard copy applications. Applicants apply via thaievisa.go.th, and unless otherwise instructed, visiting the embassy is unnecessary. Regarding the funds requirement, there is no seasoning requirement, meaning funds do not need to be in the account for a specified period before application. However, some experiences vary; while some applicants have reported being accepted without seasoned funds, it can still depend on the discretion of the reviewing official. It is advisable to provide thorough documentation during application to improve chances of approval.

I did mine in the UK. They are all done online and have been for quite some time. The UK does not require seasoning

Funds can be in your account for a few days, make sure bank statements have your full name and address on, you might need to get a interim statement so the funds show if you’ve recently put them in

No screenshots allowed for funding MUST upload the pdf file bank statement.

You apply online wherever you apply but you need to be in the area served by the consulate you will use and remain there until the process completes. London doesn't require seasoned funds

I applied and was approved in London, but did it all online. It’s then up to the officials at the embassy to decide whether or not they want to bring you in for an interview or request additional documentation. I had the balance for longer than three months, but I have heard people be approved having the balance transferred in the same day and I’ve also heard people being rejected by not having it for long enough so again that is likely down to whoever’s reviewing your application.

Personally, I would recommend supplying as many documents as possible as part of your application , take a look through the group and see what additional documents have been requested and then you supply them as part of your initial application to try and speed it up. The only thing that may trip you up is not having held the balance long enough but again that’s purely down to whoever’s reviewing your application.

All applications are done online, no need for a visit unless asked which is rare. London has no seasoning requirement with a high DTV approval rate.
