TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares that the 24-hour rule for stating your address has been enforced at Korat immigration, indicating that this is a new policy for that office, although other locations have had it for some time. A comment suggests that the rule has actually been in effect at Korat for the past three years.
Al Olsen I always shake my head at that. When you return you have to put your address on the immigration form. Just to have to then go to immigration within 24 hours to tell then your address again.
Tony Rimmer after getting hassled during my 90 day reporting for not filing the 24 hour report a few years back, Korat immigration is my first stop within 24 hours of returning to the country.
