Hello….🙏
I’ve been to Thailand many many times, been with “O” (retirement visa). However it’s expired as had to return to UK for Covid.
I hope to return this year for the first time since my ‘O’ visa expired and I’m just asking how I can get the following:
A 60 day Visa, which I usually got from Hull Thai Consul in UK but it’s now closed permanently. The only alternative is to get a visa exempt visit but it’ll mean only 30 days and I hoped to stay for 60 days if I could.
Thank you🙏
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, who previously held an expired 'O' retirement visa, is seeking guidance on obtaining a 60-day visa to Thailand following their return to the UK due to COVID-19. They noted the closure of their usual visa application consulate in Hull and requested alternatives. Comments detailed online application options through the Thai consulate in London using the eVisa system, which generally processes applications within three working days. Additionally, advice was given on extending a visa-exempt entry for an additional 30 days at local immigration.
