I entered BKK for the first time last Friday on my DTV. Following advice from someone online (can't remember who) I made a copy of my visa and had it reduced to A5 and had it laminated, so it fits inside my passport. The lady at Immigration was very impressed and had to show it to her colleague, giggling the whole time! It was a nice first experience!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their positive experience upon arriving in Bangkok for the first time with a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). They mentioned they had made a reduced A5 copy of their visa and laminated it, which impressed the immigration staff. Comments from the community queried about the A5 size, alternative sizes like A6, and sharing tips on keeping copies of important documents, including the suggestion to store a digital picture of the visa on smartphones.
Of course they are giggling bc they see some stupid copy, there is a qr code on the visa what is enough, and the visas are also in the system of the immigration. May you paint some nice flowers on the copy this will make them even more giggling
thanks so much for your lovely comment. I know there’s a QR code - I’m not an idiot Often people farting around on phones take longer than showing a convenient piece of paper. Go have another beer and make some more useless comments
