Don’t forget, every time you arrive, your hair must be same cut, length and color, don’t grow any facial hair or change your makeup depending on gender, and you have to wear the same clothes and the key last point, don’t smile. Basically, exactly the same as your photo or you’re in jail or returned immediately.

Although it is not a requirement, having a laminated printout is much appreciated by the IO officers i have encountered. It is easy to pull out and put back in my bag, hard to get damaged, etc. Mine is A4 but as long as the qr code can be scanned, you're good to go.

I asked a copy shop to print and laminate passport size. So it stays in my passport. But I have a Swiss passport maybe UK passports are different post brexit so maybe i am not qualified to answer

Oh no no man! It doesn't need to be laminated as a rule or something. Even a simple A4 print is ok.
It's just for your convenience. A6 will be ok.
