Where can I apply for the Digital Nomad Visa as a Filipino citizen currently in Thailand?

Good evening, dear expats in Thailand.

I’m seeking some advice regarding the Digital Nomad (DTV) visa. I’ve been living in Thailand for almost 11 years, but recently I canceled my work visa and switched back to a tourist visa.

I’m planning to apply for the DTV visa in September, but I’m not sure where I can submit the application, since I’m already in Thailand.

As a Filipino citizen, which country would be the easiest or most convenient for me to apply from? I also have a Thai bank account and plan to use it for the required bank statement.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Anonymous participant 839 May I kindly ask if you are holding the DTV Thai visa under the soft skills category? If so, do you know if it’s easy to apply in Hanoi?

Thank you so much po.

Anonymous participant yes I’m under soft power category, I took cooking class. It depends, if you can submit all the requirements and you think you’re qualified then application is not as complicated as other people think.

Anonymous participant No, I applied as a freelance worker. I went to Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam and the whole process to getting my visa took 7 days. The embassy requested more information, and once I supplied that it took 5 days to visa issued
