Hello everyone, thank you for all your answers so far.
If you come to Thailand with a DTV, but then you find a job in a Thai company who agrees to sponsor your work visa/ work permit. Let's say you have a 1 year contract. Then you would have "two visas" during that year. Once the year has passed, does your DTV still work for 4 years or is it revoked immediately if you get another type of visa?
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you switch from a Double Visa (DTV) to a work visa (Non-B) in Thailand, the DTV visa must be canceled as you can only hold one valid visa at a time. Once you obtain the work visa, the DTV is revoked immediately, and if you wish to apply for a DTV again in the future, you will need to go through the entire application process anew.
You can't do that. You need to lose the DTV to gain a Non-B visa that allows you to work for a Thai company. How that happens will depend on the company you want to work for.
If they are happy to provide the paperwork for you to apply for the Non-B inside Thailand you should be able to convert the DTV to a Non-B.
If they want you to travel out of Thailand to apply for the Non-B then you first need to find a way to cancel your DTV. As I understand it that can only be done by the consulate that issued it
