Sorry if this has already been answered. I was on a non-O volunteer visa and then got an extension stamp that'll expire on 29 Jul. My work permit is due this Friday on the 17. Am I automatically moved to the amnesty visa after the 17, or does my extension stamp become null the moment my work permit expires?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the status of their non-O volunteer visa after their work permit expires. They want to know if they will automatically be moved to an amnesty visa or if their extension stamp ceases to be valid after their work permit expires.

I'm not planning to stay in Thailand beyond the 29 so I don't think i'll renew my work permit. but between 17 when my work permit expires and the 29 when I leave, am I technically on the amnesty?
On the 17th, you will cancel your work permit and your extension of stay based on being a volunteer. When you do that, you'll automatically go on amnesty.
