What is the process for cancelling a work permit and non-B visa before applying for a Thai DTV?
Does anyone have experience cancelling their work permit and non-b visa before leaving Thailand to apply for DTV? Just wondering the process and timing of the steps. Thanks!

First cancel your work permit and take the paperwork to immigration to cancel the Visa. With a letter from your employer to the department of labor you can usually do this a little bit in advance.

Once the B is cancelled you usually have 7 days to leave Thailand. You should just be able to fly somewhere and apply for the DTV
