I wanna say thank you for the information.

This is what happened, I went to Jomtien Immigration Office ..Outside there was the help desk..I was able to be attended to.The lady offered two options...one was for me to do all the processes of whatโ€™s needed by myself; and the second was for her to do everything for me..The was no escape of the TM 30 fine..The difference of the two processes was the cost amount.If I did it by myself it would cost me 3500baht and if she did everything while I sit around and wait it would cost 4000 baht.

To avoid complications I choose the later.

I had to provide place of residence .

Itโ€™s funny how they asked for 50 baht more which I refused to pay because she quoted 4000 baht for everything.

After 40 minutes I had my extension and stamp and the TM 30 .Photos below

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their experience at the Jomtien Immigration Office where they were given two options for visa extension processing: completing the paperwork themselves for 3500 baht or having an agent handle it for 4000 baht. They opted for the latter to avoid complications and mentioned a 50-baht overcharge that they refused to pay. After 40 minutes, they successfully received their visa extension and TM 30. Several comments from others included discussions on fines, the pricing of agent services, and the importance of receipts.

Actually i can see how much the fine was....800 baht

Agent has charged 1300 baht for services rendered.

I'm suspicious how the agent knew there would be a fine.....and how much. Jomtien is a lottery. You never can tell day to day.

@Ron ******
that was MY receipt for when I self reported and was only an example to see if the O/P GOT a receipt or if it all went into someone's pocket.
Ron *******
Back to my original suspicion of there probably not being a fine.
