Letter of residency and 90 days report in Samui - done today in 30 minutes. All requested was 1 photo, my passport, my address and 500baht. Efficient, kind and air conditioned. Bravo 👏🏿

Kenneth Allsopp A 90 day report is nothing to do with your bank balance. It's reporting your address if you plan to stay in Thailand more than 90 days

You report that you are 90 days inside of Thailand. The only requirement is that you are 90 days inside Thailand or plan to be if you report before the 90th day.

It is free and you should get it by post within 3 weeks. Want here and now? That is not free =)

Honestly, it highly depends on the province. Phuket immigration might ask you anything between 300 and 500 baht. Krabi immigration in most cases do it for free. Other provinces... No idea =)
