Not a question, just a positivje report from koh tao where a delegation of samui immigration is present.

Great organization with many local volunteers being super helpful, arrived at 11am, get my passport back around 1pm.

x2 :Tm7, copy of Visa and tm6, letter from embassy, photo +1900baths.

I get directly a 30 days stamp, not 15 +15.

Samui immigration staff will be in Phangan tomorrow and might come back on the islands in a month from now.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared a positive experience at a Koh Tao immigration event organized by Samui immigration with local volunteer support. They received a 30-day stamp after submitting required documents such as TM7, visa copies, a letter from the embassy, a photo, and a fee of 1900 baht. x2 :Tm7, copy of Visa, letter from embassy, photo. Does this mean you need 2 copies of all of the above?

I guess you can wait a few days, for people stuck in Koh Tao we had to do it today since they came specifically on this day from Samui

A 30 day extension of stay based on being a tourist does not require a letter from the embassy, and you will get the full 30 days added to your current stamp.
