Just wanted to say my wife and I had a pleasant experience at the Krabi Immigration office this morning to get our 30 day extension.

We came with our passports and 4000 baht. They charge 1900 baht per person for the 30 day extension. They also charge 100 baht per person to make photo copies of our original stamp, copies of our passport info and to take our photos. All took about 15 minutes.

We showed up around 9:30am and were the only people there. We also asked our taxi driver to hangout so he could take us back to Ao Nang. I appreciate all the helpful posts and information shared in this group. 🙏🏽

The THB100 for a couple of photocopies seems to be a “standard” charge also in Phuket Patong imm office …

As far as I know, you can do it as soon as you arrive. Ours expired on Jan 8th but we are heading to Chiang Mai next week so we decided to do it here

I even brought the TM30 from my residence which was not really needed. They asked me where i was staying and my phone number. Never asked for the TM30

I’ve only ever had to do the TM30 the one time I extended in Bangkok, kind of crazy how much latitude each office gets.

Yes. That office is one of the easier ones to deal with.
