Submitted : 16th of April

Asked for additional documents: 18th

Pending approval: 22th

Approved: 6th of May (today!)

Nationality: french

I did everything through issa compass agency because I was rejected the first attempt because of my complicated surname and i didnt want to risk it again. I paid around 5k baht for the service and they refund you everything (including government fees) if rejected. The documents were the usuals.

The wait was excruciating but finally it's here, thank for this group for all your advice and support.

Courage to everyone still waiting.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A French expat shared their successful visa application experience in Thailand, detailing a timeline from submission to approval. They submitted their application through an agency due to a previous rejection related to their surname complexities. The applicant emphasized the importance of correct documentation and mentioned they paid approximately 5,000 baht for the agency's services, which guaranteed a refund if they faced another rejection. The post generated supportive comments from other users celebrating the approval and sharing insights on the agency's fees.

I'm not really sure maybe they have different promotion or depending on countries. I paid 6k I just checked. Worth it for me because I already lost 10k before being rejected but it's expensive yeah

Congratulations! Very happy for you.

Regarding your surname, the only thing you need to do is enter exactly what’s written on your passport.

Anonymous participant 986 I won't go into details but sadly it's not that simple because my name don't fit the international standard, I had the issue many times in other instances. It's exactly what I've done and it got rejected

Thank you!
