Hello. I was approved a DTV. On the paper it states for Medical and Wellness. Could someone please tell me. What does Wellness cover. Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Wellness category of the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand covers non-medical treatments such as yoga, meditation, and counseling. While some users have confirmed that their visas were approved under this category, it appears that approval may vary depending on the embassy's policies. The discussion includes mentions of using yoga as part of a health program, and there are concerns about whether activities like yoga for basic health would be approved.

Thank you. The dental treatment is going well. I did not realise that the embassy would add a second category. Wellness. Which is a bonus for me.

you seem to misunderstand the DTV issued on a "soft power". You cannot work on it inside Thailand. You are supposed to attend seminars, classes and schools. As attendances aren't checked by Immigration, you are litterally free to live, but not allowed to work.

I wasn’t aware that you could apply under the medical and wellness category, as my embassy never mentioned it. I recently came across an article that said it’s possible to do so for yoga and meditation, but I wasn’t sure if it was actually allowed.

It depends on the embassy if they approve it. Yoga can be used as part of a medical treatment program. Yoga for basic health/fun will unlikely get approved.
