I am very interested in the experiences concerning obtaining a DTV visa based on soft activities. I have asked the Thai Embassy in The Hague whether, for example, a Thai Massage training also falls under this. I do not get a clear answer and am referred back to their site which is very vague. Who has experience with a DTV visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around obtaining a DTV visa for soft activities such as Thai massage training. The original poster expresses frustration over vague responses from the Thai Embassy regarding the eligibility of Thai massage courses for the DTV visa. Comments suggest that enrolling in an approved massage training school may improve chances of approval. Participants recommend joining the DTV group for shared experiences and insights, noting that Thai massage training has not frequently received approvals unless supported by proper certifications. Additionally, popular classes like cooking and Muay Thai are highlighted as alternative options to consider.
Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) join and read. Thai massage training hasn't been a scheme seeing any approvals, but that is most likely due to proper and acceptable certification. Contacting schools with ministry of education certification as well as tourism certification would be advised, of course if they have a history of DTV application approval as well.
