Can I apply for the DTV in Thailand providing documentation for multiple categories like remote work and a dental procedure?

Does anyone have experience successfully getting the DTV having provided documentation supporting multiple categories (esp. in Taipei or Jakarta)?

For example, I am applying as a remote worker but I am also considering including documentation about an upcoming dental procedure I'm scheduling in Bangkok. Do you think this multi-category approach would help strengthen my application, or end up causing confusion?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus from community feedback is that it's best to apply for just one category when submitting a Digital Visa (DTV) application in Thailand. Users from the expatriate community highlighted the risks of confusion and complications that may arise if multiple category documents are submitted. It was advised to keep documentation related to other categories on hand, but to focus the application on a single primary category—such as remote work or medical reasons—when applying. Success stories in different locations indicate that clarity in the application is crucial.

Bring along everything but in the end, submit your application based on one or the other only. If one category fails, you can try the other.

I recently got approved in Jakarta for dental works. Was straight forward so I can only recommend what worked for me.

In my embassy I was required to apply for only ONE category, and it clearly stated that after submission it was not possible to change categories (Seoul, Korea. e-visa).

meaning if you got denied you wouldn’t be able to reapply under another category ?

Oh no, you're allowed to reapply, either for the same or another category. Thing is, you must pay again for each single (re)application.

Definitely not try that in Taipei..

Probably just makes a mess, chose one category and go with it, and I would go remote worker, you never know if for an extension you will need to provide again the documentation, with your job (unless you stop) you are fine, with medical you may need to provide future appointments that you may not need for real.

If you were providing 2 courses both for soft-power maybe that would make more sense, but the distinction between remote worker and soft-power is clear and mixing them will probably create a mess for them.
