TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a Thailand NON-O visa that you received in February but have not yet entered Thailand, you typically have five years to enter the country without it affecting your visa status. However, be prepared for potential questions regarding the delay in your entry, especially if your visa was obtained through specific channels such as soft power.

You have 5 years to use it, BUT you should definitely be ready for some questions about why it took so long for you to use it. Especially if you got the visa via soft power.

Anonymous participant ok. Staying in Vietnam under 90 day tourist visa gives you limited options for bank accounts and no drivers license

At least in Thailand you can get DL. But I guess you have options

I think I might try 6 months in each one

Anonymous participant I love both countries

They offer different things

No Pattaya for sure

Bangkok is not for a couple of months.

Try Hua Hin

Or Krabi

People love that DTV. I would use it. Maybe leave rainy season to sunny Thailand
