Has anybody done a passport renewal since securing DTV?
I received my DTV stamp a few months ago, but I have about 3 pages left in my passport.
If I get a new passport, is the dtv stamp in the old one still valid?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The validity of your DTV stamp after renewing your passport depends on various factors. It is generally advisable to carry both your old and new passports together, as the DTV stamp will remain valid in the old passport until its expiry. In some instances, it's possible to transfer the visa stamp from the old passport to the new one at immigration offices, such as in Chiang Mai. Carrying a printout of your DTV approval might also be helpful.
If it is an actual stamp in passport can you not have it transferred to the new passport. This is the case with others like O and B. At Chiang Mai Immigration they have a window just for these transfers.
