'Cancelled. Disqualified' What does this mean?

Applied 28 May in Delhi,

Provided NZ and India company Extract (where I am 100% shareholder and director) and India entry stamp and last 3 months bank statement of both personal and company account. Balance of 500k baht was deposited few days prior but there were numerous transactions of 2k-4k USD every week into personal account from company account.

Request for additional docs (Proof of address in India and Employment Contract) on 2 June.

Same day- I provided Employment Certificate from own company, signed by self and stamped and Indian Driving licence and Aadhaar for address proof.

Today 10 June got 'Cancelled. Disqualified'

What may have gone wrong? And does 'Disqualified' mean I can no longer apply again or disqualified just this time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a Thai DTV visa but received a 'Cancelled. Disqualified' status on their application. They provided documentation showing they are a shareholder and director of a company but face questions about the legitimacy of their financial situation, including recent large fund deposits. Various comments suggest potential reasons for disqualification, such as insufficient or inconsistent documentation, the need for more substantial proof of income, or specific embassy standards. There are concerns about the optics of their business setup, and some suggest they might need to apply from a different country or work with an agent for guidance.

You are the only person in that company it doesn’t look like a real company on paper. It looks like you created it for the purpose of applying. Optics mean a lot. Grow the business first.
Chris *******
Pay an agent to handle it as they will inform you of the specific requirements for each country, as they have experience with multiple applications.

Best wishes e-visa team… a bit strange, everything is more formal with embassies. Yours sincerely is used? 🤔

@Bob *********
that’s what he said, but we never know the full picture with thee posts..

Cancelled usually means there's something wrong with your passport information, probably entered incorrectly. The disqualified bit I'm not sure about

Maybe they want the 500K in the main bank account for more than "a few days"…..

Did you write a letter you can do remote work in Thailand?

Only being a director and 100% shareholder does not qualify you fro DTV, you have to explain you can do your job remote.

@Luit ****************
Yes, I made it very clear in the Employment Certification
Kool *******
Anonymous participant your 500k wasn't in your account long enough. Leave it in there for three months then try again.

If you are director and shareholder in NZ and India company, how does it help you with dtv visa?

Cancelled usually means inaccurate basic info such as passport data. I think this is a first, adding the word disqualified.

You haven't mentioned your DTV scheme, remote worker?

Seasonal money… if you dont have it dont make big deposits . Get a sponsor instead they dont care where the money comes as long as its coming SPREAD OUT IN 6 MONTHS FROM OUTSIDE OF THAILAND. Dont complicate yourself 🙏

A DTV application can be disqualified for several reasons, including insufficient financial documentation, missing or incomplete documentation, inconsistent or inaccurate information on the application, or if the Thai Embassy has concerns about the applicant's ability to adhere to visa conditions.

If you're unsure about the reason for refusal, you can contact the visa officer or a registered migration agent for clarification.

Did you run your circumstances past your local Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in preparation to see you meet the criteria?
Greg ********
@Brett *******
Do you think the local embassy or Consulate has time to check everyone's circumstances who would ask? What should the fee be? PS: What is a registered migration agent? Do you know of any?
Brett ********
Based my experience on 2 different DTV enquires , the consulate answered within 3 days.
Brett ********
A migration agent in Thailand is someone who can assist with an visa application, you can search google for your country specific Register of Migration. I did not require additional assistance the consulate reply covered it all.

Balance of 500K was deposited few days prior. There you’re Done.

bro you don’t understand his question? He meant whats behind that? Why?
Anonymous ******************
@Mo *****
disqualified” typically means that the applicant does not meet the eligibility criteria and is therefore not allowed to continue with the visa process or has been rejected based on specific grounds.

Reasons might include:

• Failing to meet income or employment requirements.

• Providing false or incomplete information.

• Having a criminal record or security concerns.

• Violating immigration rules in the past.

So yeah, without knowing OP’s background, none of us really know the full picture
Mo ******
Participant anonyme 279 ok thanks for thé OP I think this is the kind of answer he was expecting. I for one did it when it was still a walk in luckily so I was missing a paper one time, they sent me back to take that paper and come back the day after. At the time when they took your papers you were sure you had the DTV 🏆
Shiladitya ******
Dont do it from Delhi go to other country like Indonesia or Vietnam then apply from there DTV you can't apply from Delhi...
John *********
@Shiladitya *****
the outcome will likely be the same, all Thai Embassies/consulates are linked. I’m sure any agent looking at your situation will be able to tell you why you have been rejected/disqualified?
Mo ******
@Shiladitya *****
he can apply from

Anywhere outside of Thailand I believe?
Greg ********
No idea what disqualified means. Some agents have contacts in immigration and can find out if any notes out on your record.
