What documents do my parents need to extend their 30-day visa on arrival in Bangkok?
Hello. My parents are coming and will need to extend their 30 day visa (obtained on arrival) at immigration in Bangkok. What documents will they need in order to do this? Thanks in advance for any help.
Answer summary
To extend a 30-day visa on arrival in Bangkok, your parents will need the following documents: 1) Their passports, including copies of the data page, most recent visa, most recent stamp, and departure card. 2) A TM30 form, which can be obtained from their hotel at check-in. 3) Immigration forms (varies by office). 4) One passport-sized photo. 5) A fee of 1,900 THB. Note that they should go to the Muang Thong Thani immigration office for the extension, not the main office at Chaengwattana.

remember if they entered on a 30 day visa exempt entry they will NOT go to the main immigration office at Chaengwattana to get their extension but instead will go to the office at Muang Thong Thani **********************
