TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a 30-day visa on arrival in Bangkok, your parents will need the following documents: 1) Their passports, including copies of the data page, most recent visa, most recent stamp, and departure card. 2) A TM30 form, which can be obtained from their hotel at check-in. 3) Immigration forms (varies by office). 4) One passport-sized photo. 5) A fee of 1,900 THB. Note that they should go to the Muang Thong Thani immigration office for the extension, not the main office at Chaengwattana.
remember if they entered on a 30 day visa exempt entry they will NOT go to the main immigration office at Chaengwattana to get their extension but instead will go to the office at Muang Thong Thani
