Hi all! I will get VOA from Bangkok airport and I wonder if they will check if I really booked my hotels or not? Will the confirmation email/print do the trick? I will stay at a friend home while I'm there but I didnt find any information just so late that I need a letter.
Thank you in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
When obtaining a Visa On Arrival (VOA) in Thailand, typically, travelers are required to show proof of accommodation. While staying at a friend's home is allowed, it is advisable to have a confirmation email or print ready as evidence of lodging. Make sure to review the specific requirements for your nationality before traveling.
