Hello everyone i am Srikar from india. I am going to Thailand for travel around, on 27th of this month and i am going to take visa on arrival. I have these following doubts regarding visa procedure

1. Can we apply for visa on arrival through online? What is the procedure?

2. If we know someone in Thailand (thai national) how to use their address as reference address? What are the documents required?

3. Which is preferable for reference address? Either hotel room booking or submitting individual’s address? (as per immigration enquiry)

4. What kind of questions will be asked by immigration officers?

5. What is the minimum amount of money to be carried? Its 10,000B or 20,000B??

Any reply can help me a lot. Thank you very much

TLDR : Answer Summary
Srikar from India is traveling to Thailand and has several questions about the Visa on Arrival (VOA) process. He wants to know if he can apply online, how to use a Thai national's address as a reference, which reference address is preferable (hotel vs. individual's), what questions to expect from immigration, and the minimum amount of money he should bring. Community members provided links to online resources, clarified that VOA must be applied upon arrival, suggested booking hotels, and mentioned that 20,000 Baht is the minimum amount to carry.

@Chris ******
Even the 90 day online and the appointment for the re-entry permits are down too. I think someone tripped over the LAN cable and unplugged the intranet at the immigration office :O

thanks. Was wanting to take the girlfriend there, but she has a Ukrainian passport, so would need the VOA with 15 days on it. I’m fine with the 30 day stamp been English.

@Ch***
There is an online visa on arrival link I posted further down.

Make sure you don't confuse a 30 day visa exempt entry <- that people from 50 countries get for FREE with a "visa-on-arrival" that people from 21 countries BUY when they arrive here for 2000baht and is good for 15 days. ;) They are totally different things.

I honestly don't know. But, seriously, bring your own pen!

Is there a form for this you can print out and fill in beforehand, or do you just have rock up and join the Q??
