I’m about to extend my OA for dependant child. What do I need to ask my bank to provide? I gather I need a letter from them in addition to updated passbook showing requisite funds? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your OA visa for a dependent child, you typically need to request a letter from your bank confirming the requisite funds, along with an updated passbook. The specific financial requirements may vary based on the child's nationality and living arrangements.

i understand, 17 weeks ago I was brilliant by answering the question, but sorry that I did not check and use the search option before I asked on what basis you like to apply.
And you child has a foreign passport and is studying inside Thailand or is this a Thai child and you have full custody by Family court or local Amphur and this child is living with your full time or are you just named on a birth certificate. This all does not matter for a bank letter, but the requirements differ about the balance needed
it is a confirmation letter of your bank account, the bank knows what your need, Just say letter for Immigration, you are not the first and only foreigner living in Hua Hin and using Thai banks.
My Apologies...was trying to be brief so as to zero in for you. I think I have all the other requirements for extension nailed down. Just couldn’t quite understand what I had to request from my bank
I do not know what your are applying for as you do not want to share that with us.. Sorry but without information what you try to do i can not help you with details of the requirements.
