Seeking advice
Am UK PP holder previously with visa Non-O
Left in April this year for work overseas
Came back in on Aug 17 Visa Exempt 30 days valid til Sept 15
Extended for 30 days until Oct 15
Am considering the Savannakhét option for Non-O based upon supporting my Thai-born child
Q1. What documents do I need...?
Q2. Can anyone advise the best way to get to Mukdahan and back from Bangkok...? Van / Nok Air Fly-Ride...
Q3. Do I need an appointment...?
Q4. Is the 'don't need to show proof of funds' thing still the case or will I need to show proof of funds...?
Many thanks for any advice and support that you all can give.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a UK passport holder previously on a Non-O visa, is seeking advice on obtaining a new Non-O visa based on supporting their Thai-born child. They require information on necessary documents, travel options to Mukdahan from Bangkok, whether an appointment is needed for the visa application, and the current requirements regarding proof of funds. Responses indicate that essential documents include the child's birth certificate and the mother's identification, that no appointment is necessary for visa application, and that proof of funds is not required for a Non-O visa linked to a Thai child.
