THIS is a general idea of what you can be required to present to get a new year extension of stay.

I would make sure you GO to your immigration office and get the hand out listing the specific requirements (photos, map, bank letter, bank book, copies of thai documents, etc) well before you're going for the yearly extension

Sorry . UK Passport holder . Married to Thai. The dependency visa i got was based on our children who are still at school. I am under 50 . I am living in Thailand.Sorry for not including this in OP.
