TLDR : Answer Summary
A French citizen with a Non B visa is seeking information about documents required for a 30-day extension at Phang-Nga Immigration. It has been clarified that there is generally no standard 30-day extension for Non B visas, but assistance from an employer can lead to a 1-year extension. However, they may be eligible for a temporary extension under consideration due to COVID-19. Specific documents needed for the 30-day extension include passport copies, a TM6 form, a filled TM7 form, two photos, 1,900 Thai baht, and a letter from their embassy.

Normal documents needed for 30 day extension...

For 30 days extension You need ONLY:

-passport

-copy of passport front page

-copy of stamp/visa page

-copy of TM6 form

-filled TM7 form

-two photos

-1,900 Thai baht

Plus your Embassy letter requesting the 30 Day Extension of Stay.

Take documents to Thai Immigration one or two days before your current permission to stay date ends.

You should be able to get the "unable to travel because of covid-19" under consideration extension stamp with the letter from the consulate at the immigration office.

Post on a group related to the south of thailand to see what documents are required. There are over 70 immigration offices in the country and each one runs as it's own kingdom.

There is no 30 day Extension of Stay for a Non Immigrant B visa.

With help of your employer you can apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay.

If your employer can not help you, you can use the letter from your Embassy and you may get a period of under consideration to stay until you find a flight back to your country of origin
