Good afternoon. I did post previously about this subject but can't find it now !
I have a work permit (the blue book) from Nonthaburi Ministry of Labour office and my Non B visa expires on September 5th.
My school have told me we need to go to Chaeng Wattana immigration on Tuesday morning (I live in Bkk but the school is in Nonthaburi) to do whatever (90 day reporting/change visa - I don't know how this works...)
The manager from the school wants to go about 8am and I told her in my experience we could be waiting all day if we go too late....
Could anyone tell me what queue or section we need to go to and are the queues for this likely to be a nightmare? I know for some visa related things there are different sections and the waiting times are quite short.
Finally, what is it that I'm having to do as the school have no idea and they have never had to organise a work permit previously?
Thanks in advance....

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the process of renewing their Non B visa, as well as information regarding necessary procedures at Chaeng Wattana Immigration. They have a work permit from Nonthaburi and expressed concerns about potential long waiting times and what documentation or procedures need to be addressed during their visit, specifically whether it involves a 90-day report or an extension of stay. Several community members provided insights into the expected waiting times, directed the user to the correct section at the immigration office, and clarified that the school manager's presence is not necessary for the process.

I was going to ChaengWattana before I move to nontaburi. At there if you go early can finish quickly but after move to nontaburi I went to nontaburi immigration. Like you said doesn't matter at what time you been there. All day need to wait. School manager probably will not understand this and also even if you want to go chaeng wattana they will send you to nontaburi anyway.
Was due to go tomorrow but been postponed anyway. My Non B expires September 5th that and the work permit is what I have. I'm not very good with the terminology....
If you're a teacher you go to Section N (there is an N1 and N2) DON'T get a queue number from the main queue number desk when you enter, just walk right past that desk and your queue number at section N.
As you go into the immigration office, as soon as you get past the entry way you'll see the queue desk in front of you, bear left, walk past section L and N will be on the left.
Gordon, you are going for an extension of stay, and because of the timing, many many other teachers will be too. Tod knows the desks, but I would bank on writing off the whole day, and any less is a bonus. You will not need to do a 90 day report until 90 days after your extension, (your first extension counts as a report).
But your post this time contained almost none of that info. And you said Finally what is it that I am having to do as the school have no idea... That was the question I was trying to answer by getting you to provide details
Also it seems that you would be going Immigration to try to Extend you current B Visa. Question - how long have you had your current B Visa. Is it a 90 day B Visa or an Extension of Stay you got a year ago based on your original 90 day B Visa?
You have to do what ever and you want to know at which desk that is and how many other people will be there next Tuesday to do the same? Sorry, my crystal ball is malfunctioning at the moment
It is very hard to give advice if you can not tell us the reason for the visit to Immigration. Application for new Extension? 90 day report? Notification of Address? All different things, different procedures, different desks. I hope you can understand that.
"I have a work permit (the blue book) from Nonthaburi Ministry of Labour office and my Non B visa expires on September 5th." That is from the post I wasn't sure of the correct terminology that's why I posted on here because there are some very well informed and helpful people. This is the first time I have received an ignorant reply. I'm sorry I thought this group was to help people who needed assistance....
