DTV application successful and approved.

Muay Thai- soft power. Tiger Eye MMA.

I went to Danang Vietnam because I used to live there. It’s a great city with a beautiful beach and peninsula. Great restaurants and hotels, all cheap.

I applied on HCMC embassy visa online visa.

Two days after I applied they requested further documents. They asked for all the paperwork from the gym. Owner passport, ID, etc. combine all the documents onto one PDF when you upload them.

Two days later it was approved.

Total time for approval was five days.

I am very happy because I love being in Thailand. It is my second home and I already train Muay Thai. It’s a massive passion of mine.

Good luck to you all. It wasn’t complicated to do at all. You definitely do not need an agent for this.

The documents I’ve been sent for approval are 18mb and can upload a maximum of 3mb of visa application. Is it ok to compress into a zip file do you know?
Andi ***********
@Lee ******
yes, many compress their docs size.

Congrats
@James *******
!

Did you choose Tiger Eye based on my recommendation here?

Congratulations! 🎉

Did they give you the approved DTV document via email? Which means you don’t have to visit the embassy at all?

How many months of bank statement do you need to give?

yes, via email. You don’t have to go to the embassy. I gave them 6 months bank statements.

Hi James!

Did you have the 500k for all six months of the invoices? Also, does the gym owner email you the required documents, or are they mailed to you?

Thank you 🙂

Thank you 🙂

@Nikki *****
the gym should know what documents you need and email them to you.

Yes, I had 500k in savings anyway.

Danang seems like an excellent choice to hang out and wait for the filing and process to finish. Thanks!

Congrats James 👍 can I ask is there a minimum requirement for pre-paid sessions as part of the application?

@Dom *******
I think you need at least 3+ months tbh. To make it seem worthy of a five year visa. I don’t know if the is a minimum requirement or what it is.

@James *******
makes sense, I’m thinking if I buy 30 hours of training that should be enough but we’ll see, I’ll post in the group when i get an answer 🙏👍

no it’s online Evisa. Just select Hanoi or HCMC embassy when apply online.

@James *******
But don't you have to send your passport to get a stamp or something?
Andi ***********
@Bettina *********
Yes, you send your passport entry stamp and accommodation in Vietnam

@Bettina *********
no, you get a PDF emailed to you. You get stamped when enter the country
Danny ***********
@James *******
So it doesn't matter to select either Hanoi or HCMC then?
Andi ***********
@Danny **********
Depending on your location in Vietnam, you apply at HCMC or Hanoi. The respective Embassy sites tell you the locations that they cover. If you apply at the wrong embassy, your application will not be processed there. Not sure if your application is delayed or cancelled. You need to submit evidence of your location when you apply.

Thanks
@Ja***
, could you list exactly which gym documents they wanted? My friend is going to HCMC in 2 weeks and I will follow in January. So we can get the gym owner to get all documents ready for us 😊

So far we have:

Cover/invitation letter

Training schedule

Invoice (6 months)

Business license

Owner ID + signature

Do we need anything else?

(Of course we will provide bank statements, passport copies, etc. I just want to know what to request from the gym owner)
